São Paulo to remain on F1 calendar through to 2035

The São Paulo Grand Prix will remain on the Formula 1 race calendar until at least 2035, it was confirmed Saturday ahead of this year's edition. Interlagos' race has been a popular and long-serving F1 race venue, previously dubbed the Brazilian Grand Prix until it was changed in 2021 to reflect the financial contribution of the city. The venue already had a deal until 2030, but its extension has followed the trend of modern circuits extending on bumper long-term deals. The iconic Interlagos circuit has been the home of six championship-deciding races in its history as a race host.
