Saracens sack player who threw punch that led to Ben Stokes’ retirement after new incident

Saracens have sacked academy player Totoa Auvaa after an incident at the weekend. The Samoan forward was previously involved in an altercation with England cricketers Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson back in June. On that occasion, Auvaa was alleged to have punched an ECB security guard at a London nightclub. The incident ultimately contributed to Stokes’ retirement from international cricket three weeks later. Auvaa has now had his Saracens contract terminated following another incident involving the prospect.
