Sayvia Sellers gets first triple-double of women’s college basketball season

The senior guard for the Washington Huskies notched the first triple-double of the year in women's college basketball by racking up 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in a season-opening 79-63 victory on Monday, Nov. 2 over UC San Diego. Sellers is the first Washington player to have a triple-double since Chantel Osahor – who is now an assistant coach at Gonzaga – did it in 2016. Sellers shot 9-of-20 from the floor and also logged a block and a steal in 33 minutes of play. Her rebound and assist totals were both single-game career-highs.
