Second CL win for Sporting, first win and goals for Sabah

Sporting won 2-0 at Lens on Tuesday to make it two wins from two games in the Champions League while Azerbaijan's Sabah got their first points and goals in the elite event with a 2-0 victory over Slavia Prague. Luis Suarez opened the scoring in Lens with the first chance for Lisbon's Sporting when he tapped in a cross from Nestory Irankunda in the 22nd minute. In Baku, newcomers Sabah had a first-half goal from Kaheem Parris nullified due to offside but Parris made amends four minutes after the restart with a shot into the bottom left corner.
