Ruben Amorim , Ruud van Nistelrooy and Michael Carrick can’t all be wrong when it comes to Amad Diallo ’s unrelenting desire to fulfil his potential. ‘Amad is such a dream to work with,’ Carrick said last season. ‘His attitude is so positive. He wants to learn, he wants to keep pushing. ‘He asks for more – “what can I do more?” or “how can I improve?” He is desperate to do well and has been a huge part of the team.’ Amorim and Van Nistelrooy spoke similarly of Amad’s thirst for extra work and personal development.
