Simon Edvinsson leaving Sweden for U.S., but no deal with Red Wings yet

Edvinsson, the unsigned restricted free agent, is leaving Sweden and returning to the USA but not yet, apparently, to the Red Wings. Edvinsson returned to Sweden when Wings' training camp ended and he was still without a new contract. Edvinsson has been practicing with his former junior team, Frolunda. But there is no indication a new contract is imminent with the Wings. Edvinsson is reportedly setting up camp somewhere on the East Coast and will be working with trainers set up by his agency.
