Sri Lanka name 15-member squad for two-Test series against Pakistan

Sri Lanka named a 15-player Test squad on Tuesday, October 13 2026, for their two-match series against Pakistan scheduled in November. Kusal Mendis will captain the side, which travels to Pakistan for Tests in Rawalpindi and Lahore. Opener Pathum Nissanka has been included in the squad but his availability for the first Test remains conditional on him returning to full fitness before the match begins. Wicketkeeper Anjala Bandara has been handed a maiden Test call-up, making him one of the notable new faces in the touring party.
