Stats, facts, records! How good BVB are under Niko Kovac

Niko Kovac took over at Borussia Dortmund in February 2025 with the club in eleventh place. He then led BVB back into the UEFA Champions League with an outstanding finish to the season, overturning an eight-point deficit with his team. No team picked up more points than the Black & Yellows over the final twelve matchdays of the 2024/25 season. In his first full season at BVB in 2025/26, Niko Kovac and his team collected 73 points. An impressive tally that would have been enough to win the German championship just three years earlier.
