Steelers’ Cam Heyward scoffs at Jared Verse drama after smacking Browns

Cam Heyward made it clear that he isn’t buying Jared Verse’s previous comments about the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to him, it had little to do with their 27-6 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The veteran defender said the team had a bigger goal than responding to the Los Angeles Rams’ pass rusher. Verse had called the Steelers a “dirty” team after their first meeting. He also criticized their blocking schemes and physical play, saying he looked forward to facing them again. Asked whether he spoke to Verse before Sunday’s game, Heyward offered a simple response.
