Teenage phenom earns Tour card, sets record the hard way

Sunday may not have been the exact result 19-year-old Blades Brown was looking for — a fourth 54-hole lead squandered — but it ultimately saw him earn what he wanted next: a season full of starts on the PGA Tour. He turned pro at just 17 and has played on the Korn Ferry Tour much of the last two seasons, occasionally sprinkling in some starts on the PGA Tour.
