Timeform have described Darkness Falls ( Camelot ) as “a perfectly viable Triple Crown contender” following his victory in Saturday's G1 Darley Dewhurst Stakes. Aidan O'Brien's colt achieved a rating of 119p for his success at Newmarket where he narrowly prevailed from Godolphin's Desert Castle ( Frankel ), who has seen his rating increase to 118p. That performance propelled the son of Camelot to the top of the tree so far as this season's two-year-old colts are concerned.
