Wales v Japan LIVE: Score updates as Griffin scores early try

Wales kick off the second stage of their Nations Championship campaign this afternoon against Japan. Steve Tandy's men began the tournament back in the summer with a win over Fiji, followed by defeats to Argentina and South Africa. The objective today will be to return to winning ways, with a sense of positivity permeating through this Wales squad. Tandy has decided to go with a new midfield combination today, with Eddie James and Max Llewellyn paired at centre, with Scarlets' fly-half Sam Costelow given the nod over Dan Edwards. The game is being shown live on ITV1 and S4C .
