Wales Women inch closer to World Cup dream after convincing win over Albania

Wales Women have moved one step closer to a historic first Women's World Cup appearance after sweeping aside Albania to reach the qualifying play-off final. Rhian Wilkinson's side secured a convincing 3-0 victory at Parc y Scarlets, completing a 4-0 aggregate triumph after winning the first leg 1-0 last Friday. Mayzee Davies opened the scoring with her first international goal before second-half strikes from Elise Hughes and Hannah Cain sealed the victory. Wales will now face Norway in a two-legged play-off final in December, with a place at next summer's World Cup in Brazil at stake.
