Warriors’ Stephen Curry matches LeBron James on 40-point NBA list

As long as Stephen Curry is healthy and humming , the Golden State Warriors have a chance to win. On Wednesday night, Curry was back to his torching ways, saving his best for the Minnesota Timberwolves as he led the Dubs to their second win of the season, 119-114. Curry was on fire for most of the night, making mincemeat of the Timberwolves’ defense and finishing with a season-best 44 points on 11-of-27 shooting from the field (6-of-16 from deep) and a perfect 16-of-16 from the charity stripe.
