Washington Huskies’ next opponent: What to know about Purdue

Washington’s search for its first Big Ten win of the season continues. The Huskies are 0-3 in conference play for the first time since 2008 following UW’s dreadful 41-24 defeat against Iowa on Friday. And UW’s final chance to pick up a Big Ten win before the bye week comes against a suddenly resurgent Purdue team. The Boilermakers, under second-year coach Barry Odom, picked up their first Big Ten win of the season on Oct. 3, when Purdue beat Illinois 24-17 behind a 255-yard passing performance by quarterback Ryan Browne.
