Washington looking for Brynn McGaughy to build on strong first year

Coach Tina Langley and the Washington Huskies have one of the most promising groups of returners to build around heading into the 2026-27 season, and one of its key pieces is Brynn McGaughy. During her first year on Montlake, the former five-star recruit and local product of Colfax, Washington, was a unanimous selection to the All-Big Ten Freshman team after posting 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1 block per game during her first year while shooting 48.8 percent from the field.
