The Chicago Bears had the first major mistake of the game when tight end Colston Loveland lost a fumble on third down, giving the Seattle Seahawks the ball with only 25 yards to go to the end zone. Seattle took advantage of the short field. After a penalty nullified an interception from Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold, he found Cooper Kupp in the end zone for a touchdown.
