West M football eyeing Indian Valley after turning away Philo

Philo and the host Tornadoes combined for 28 points in the game's first 10 minutes in a wild first quarter of their Division IV, Region 15 first-round playoff game. It was a total 180-degree turn from their regular season meeting, when West forced six turnovers and took a 28-point lead into the half on the same West M Athletic Booster Stadium field. Eventually, though, even a short-handed Tornado squad without starting quarterback Noah Morrison gained the upper hand in the second half of a 35-14 win.
