Why Jordan Lee had questions for Dawn Staley before transferring to South Carolina

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Jordan Lee had a lot of questions when she visited South Carolina women's basketball as a transfer portal recruit. Like, a lot of questions. So many that she called South Carolina coach Dawn Staley after the visit with even more questions. But Lee is a young person who understands what she wants, Staley said Oct. 13 at SEC Basketball Tipoff '27 at the Hotel Wildemont. It was a difficult decision for Lee to transfer, she said, especially after coming from a program where she contributed to two straight Final Four runs the last two seasons.
