Why Wyatt Johnston's record of perfect attendance with the Stars will be broken vs. Avalanche

The Dallas Stars announced shortly before puck drop for their matchup with the Colorado Avalanche that the star forward will be out with an illness. It's the first time in Johnston's five-season career that he'll miss a game. He played in all 82 games in each of his previous four seasons, including his rookie year in 2022-23. Johnston's played in all five of Dallas' games in the early going of this season as well, but will sit on Tuesday.
