Wicklow confirm McConville will stay in hot seat for 2027

Wicklow have confirmed Oisín McConville will lead the county's senior footballers into the 2027 campaign. McConville has been a popular figure in the Garden County since taking the reins in 2023. The Armagh man agreed a two-year extension in 2025 and he has now been ratified to stay in the hot seat for at least another year. In his first season at the helm, Wicklow gained promotion to Division 3, but they suffered relegation back to Division in 2024.
