3 head-coaching candidates Florida State should target after firing Mike Norvell

Before the Florida State Seminoles lost 36-24 to the Clemson Tigers at home on Saturday, a banner flew over Doak Campbell Stadium calling for head coach Mike Norvell's firing. The ACC program has granted that wish. On Sunday, Florida State confirmed it fired Norvell. Director of scouting (offense) Rick Stockstill, who played quarterback for the Seminoles from 1977-81, will replace him. Stockstill previously served as the HC for the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders from 2006-23, going 113-111. Norvell's firing isn't a complete shock.
