Arsenal 3-0 Lille: Seven Minutes of Magic Seal Champions League Win

Arsenal secured a comfortable 3-0 Champions League victory over Lille at the Emirates tonight, although the final scoreline makes the game sound considerably more exciting than it was for the first hour! Goals from Jurrien Timber, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka, all within seven minutes, turned a fairly uninspiring evening into another convincing European win for Mikel Arteta's side. As we discussed in our match preview , Arsenal needed to be more clinical in front of goal, but there was precious little urgency in the opening 45 minutes.
