Auburn falls in the latest ESPN FPI ranking following the bye week

The Auburn Tigers return to the field on Saturday after their bye week to play No. 1 Georgia. They will be looking to pick up their first win over a No. 1-ranked team since their win over Alabama in 2017. That season was also the last time Auburn defeated Georgia. Despite not playing in week six, Auburn took a massive hit in the latest rankings. However, the ESPN Football Power Index still projects the Tigers to pick up enough wins to make it to a bowl game, but their chances have dropped in the past week.
