Bayern Munich's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge downplays Florian Wirtz interest

Rummenigge believes the Bundesliga champions already have plenty of options in the number 10 role, with Jamal Musiala , Lennart Karl , Serge Gnabry and summer signing Ismael Saibari all capable of playing there. Wirtz joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025 for a reported £116m, but things have not quite gone to plan so far. The German remains an undisputed starter, although he has struggled to produce the numbers he regularly managed at Leverkusen, where he recorded 57 goals and 65 assists in 197 appearances.
