Dan Patrick backs Adam Lefkoe as potential Ernie Johnson successor on ‘Inside the NBA’

Dan Patrick has already settled on a candidate for sports television’s most unenviable job. Patrick said on Thursday’s edition of The Dan Patrick Show that he hopes Adam Lefkoe is next in line to inherit the Inside the NBA desk, lauding the longtime Turner host as a seamless successor who could assume the role without disturbing the freewheeling chemistry that has turned the show into the most beloved studio program in sports over the past three decades. “Adam Lefkoe, I hope that he’s in the on-deck circle,” the former SportsCenter anchor said Thursday.
