Deontay Wilder in communications over title fight despite agreeing to bout on Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua bill

Deontay Wilder is exploring his options ahead of his next fight. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has reportedly agreed on terms to box Jai Opetaia on the Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury undercard on December 11 in Cardiff. It would mark his first outing since beating Derek Chisora in April via split decision. However, the contracts are yet to be signed, leaving Wilder open to look elsewhere, at least for the time being. One man that he has been in recent communication with is WBA heavyweight champion Murat Gassiev.
