Florida tumbles out of The Athletic's re-rank top 25 after Week 6

Week 6 of the college football season was not kind to the Florida Gators , who got whalloped in their homecoming game at the hands of the South Carolina Gamecocks , 38-19. It was the program's first homecoming loss since 2018 and the second in a row after starting the Jon Sumrall era with four straight wins. Following last weekend's gridiron grind, The Athletic's Chris Vannini issued his latest re-ranking of all 138 FBS schools and severely penalized the Orange and Blue for its embarrassing performance.
