Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel is in a stable condition in intensive care after being on the receiving end of a sickening foul - before going into cardiac arrest. The incident happened on Monday during a match between Tenerife and Andorra in the Spanish second division, which was level at 2-2 before the referee chose to abandon the game in stoppage time. De Miguel, 30, sustained injuries around his head and chest after Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owono came rushing out to clear a long ball and appeared to hit the Spaniard with his knee.
