Former Memphis football coach Mike Norvell fired at Florida State

Norvell, who coached Memphis from 2016-2019, was fired by Florida State on Nov. 1 after the Seminoles lost to Clemson. Norvell left Memphis for Florida State after winning the American Conference title with the Tigers in 2019. His time in Memphis included three straight trips to the conference title game, but things didn't go as well in Tallahassee. After struggling in his first two seasons, Norvell turned things around in 2022 and won 10 games.
