Former UFC star Tim Kennedy shot multiple times in deadly DR Congo attack

Former UFC fighter Tim Kennedy is receiving medical care for three gunshot wounds after an attack in the Democratic Republic of Congo left 20 people dead or wounded, Reuters reported. The former US Army Green Beret, 47, is being treated at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, according to Newsweek. Kennedy sustained the injuries on September 17 during an attack in South Kivu province.
