Giants CB Greg Newsome drops huge 7-word reaction after contract extension

The New York Giants and cornerback Greg Newsome II reached an agreement Tuesday on a three-year contract extension , and the 26-year-old wasted little time expressing his excitement about the deal. Newsome celebrated the development with a seven-word message on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “BIG BLUE WE ARE HERE TO STAY!!” The new contract is reportedly worth $46 million, including $32 million in guaranteed money. The agreement comes less than eight months after Newsome joined New York on a one-year, $8 million contract last March. He is now under contract through the 2029 season, avoiding unrestricted free agency next offseason.
