It's Louisville basketball season. Previewing Kelsey and Walz's 2026-27 teams

Louisville is ringing in the start of the 2026-27 college basketball season with a doubleheader Nov. 2 at the KFC Yum Center . Jeff Walz and his seventh-ranked women's team get the party started at 5 p.m. against Bellarmine. Pat Kelsey and his 11th-ranked men's team will follow with a 9 p.m. tipoff against Chattanooga. If it wasn't obvious from the numbers next to their names, this is a pivotal season for the Cardinals on both fronts.
