Lions lost linebacker Jimmy Rolder to season-ending hamstring injury vs. Vikings

Rolder’s injury has been largely overlooked because it happened on the same play as the very scary injury suffered by linebacker Jack Campbell, who remains hospitalized. Rolder’s injury isn’t as serious but is a big one for the Lions, as Rolder is a rookie who had been playing an increasingly important role on Detroit’s defense. Rolder was the Lions’ leading tackler in their win over the Vikings. “Jimmy Rolder is going to require surgery, or he could, this is a significant injury, he’ll be out for the season,” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said.
