The Colombian was a goal machine for the Atleti, firing the Spanish side to Europa League and Copa Del Rey glory in his two seasons in Madrid. He was linked with a move to the Premier League before making a surprise switch to Monaco in 2013, only to suffer a serious knee injury which derailed his first season in Ligue 1.
