One Hurricanes player was shocked to learn that the Fighting Irish are next. “Oh,” Miami edge rusher Marquise Lightfoot said, per ESPN, when informed of the next opponent. “Well, it’s Notre Dame then.” Miami defeated North Carolina 38-35 on Saturday. The Hurricanes defense struggled; North Carolina rolled up 407 total yards of offense.
