Milwaukee Brewers’ relief corps draws impressive praise from Kevin Cash after World Series win

The Milwaukee Brewers secured their first championship in franchise history with a 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 on Wednesday night at Tropicana Field. Despite the defeat, Rays manager Kevin Cash gave Milwaukee its flowers, highlighting the group that consistently gave Tampa Bay trouble throughout the World Series. Cash had high praise for Milwaukee’s relief corps, describing the Brewers’ bullpen as “as elite of a bullpen as I’ve ever seen.” The Brewers gave Cash plenty of reason to make that assessment.
