NC State’s bowl outlook: tenuous

NC State fell 18 spots to No. 80 in SP+ after its lifeless performance against Wake Forest over the weekend, which is only fair. Based on this new and pristinely terrible position in the SP+, what is the Pack’s outlook for the rest of the season on paper? Just getting to bowl eligibility is the challenge now, and the schedule is soft enough to make it possible, but I suspect no one is going to appreciate this adjustment in expectations.
