NFL HC slams Cowboys DC Christian Parker after latest hire: ‘Finally hired a real coach’

The Dallas Cowboys need answers, and they need them quickly. After a week when the Cowboys were fortunate that the rest of the division went 0-1-2 , their 24-16 loss to the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers made plenty of headlines. However, the Cowboys' issues extend beyond one week, and the defense has been a glaring concern. This outlook led the Cowboys to hire longtime NFL coach/coordinator Mike Pettine as a senior defensive assistant, a move that raised more than a few eyebrows given the struggles of defensive coordinator Christian Parker's unit.
