NFL rules DT Zxavian Harris is eligible to sign with teams as a free agent

In a memo to teams on Monday, the NFL announced that Harris is eligible to visit, try out for or sign with any team as a free agent. Harris was initially ruled ineligible in September after attempting to join the LSU team after spending part of the offseason with the Saints as an undrafted free agent signing. Per the memo, via Tom Pelissero of Netflix, the NFL determined that Harris did not participate in football activities in college after being waived by the Saints in August.
