NHL rumors: Canadiens in no rush to trade Samuel Montembeault despite goalie logjam

The Montreal Canadiens are having a solid start to the season , and there could be several contributing factors. One of them is the play of their netminders, as rookie goalie Jacob Fowler has stepped on the ice and produced for the team. This wasn’t always the plan, as Jakub Dobes is still trying to get into a rhythm, but everything has worked out in their favor so far. That’s not the only goalie they have on standby, as Samuel Montembeault is still recovering from injury and is supposed to return at some point in November.
