Pakistan fined for slow over rate despite winning the ODI Tri-Series final vs Sri Lanka

Chennai Pakistan has been fined five per cent of its match fee for maintaining a slow over-rate during the final of the ODI Tri-Series against Sri Lanka in Lahore on Saturday. Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by three wickets to clinch the series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on October 31. But the host side was ruled to be one over short after time allowances were taken into consideration. Jeff Crowe of the Emirates ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees imposed the sanction.
