Piers Morgan reveals Cristiano Ronaldo response to new Erik ten Hag row

Piers Morgan has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo’s response to Erik ten Hag’s comments he wasn’t up to the task on his return to Manchester United. The ex-Red Devils boss spoke out last week and insisted the Portugal legend ‘could no longer deliver’ when he joined the club for a second time in 2021. The Dutchman also claimed he withdrew from training sessions and failed to raise his heart rate to the required levels in them. He added that Ronaldo only completed two of the three scheduled laps at Carrington following a 4-0 loss to Brentford in 2022.
