Steelers may be nearing a trade decision after latest roster news

On Monday, the Steelers brought back fan-favorite linebacker Elandon Roberts, one of the league's best tackling defenders, to their practice squad. But it feels like it's only a matter of time until Roberts finds his way onto the 53-man roster, which may open the door for a Patrick Queen trade. Queen, like last season, hasn't looked great in 2026. Tackling inconsistency and effort concerns have characterized Queen's level of play over the past few games. Facing an uncertain future in the final year of his contract, Queen may be closer to a Steelers exit than some realize.
