The huge sum Kimi Antonelli will earn for winning the F1 Drivers' Championship

Massive championship payout: Securing the Drivers' World Championship would instantly trigger substantial performance clauses in Kimi Antonelli's Mercedes contract . This achievement alone would reportedly push his total season earnings to just under £8.3million (€10m). No extra winnings for title win: Unlike other sports, the World Championship victor doesn't collect any additional prize money for claiming the ultimate accolade. The champion would instead anticipate contractual bonuses being paid out for securing the title.
