Wayne Rooney and Jamie Carragher in agreement on Lisandro Martinez after heated Manchester United interview

Wayne Rooney and Jamie Carragher are in agreement that Lisandro Martinez ’s extraordinary Manchester United outburst was unnecessary, with the defender told to worry about his own performances. Following Man United’s 2-0 loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night, stretching their winless run to five games across all competitions , Martinez launched a stinging attack on the club’s hierarchy. The defender was critical about the lack of summer investment in the first-team squad, effectively singling out Man Utd technical director Jason Wilcox despite the club spending over £150million.
