Youri Tielemans caught up in Lisandro Martinez and Manchester United transfer row

Youri Tielemans insists Manchester United have to ‘keep trusting each other’ after team-mate Lisandro Martinez gave an explosive interview following the 2-0 Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid. United are now winless in five games and head coach Michael Carrick is under intense pressure as their season threatens to unravel just two months in. Martinez played the whole of last night’s defeat and in a post-match video directed his fire at technical director Jason Wilcox after United failed to bring in defensive or attacking reinforcements in the transfer window.
