When will Koby Howard, key Penn State football defenders, play again?

Sensational sophomore receiver Koby Howard will miss his fourth straight Big Ten game on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Michigan as he recovers from an unspecified injury, coach Matt Campbell said during his weekly Tuesday press conference. Howard, who was averaging an astounding 28.7 yards on his 12 receptions, appears targeted to return for the Purdue game on Halloween, following the Nittany Lions ' off-week. That also seems a likely return date for injured backup defensive end LaVar Arrington II and linebacker Cam Smith, though Smith has begun practicing again this week, Campbell said.
