Chiefs’ defense dealt huge blows for Broncos game

The Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) will defend their first-place hold on the AFC West against the Denver Broncos (5-2) this Sunday, but they will do so without their prized rookie , and a two-time Super Bowl champion. Mansoor Delane has been ruled out with a shoulder injury, and fellow cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is going on injured reserve with a lingering knee issue, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Denver’s offense has been among the worst in the NFL this season, averaging just 270 total yards per game, but quarterback Bo Nix may now have matchups to exploit versus KC’s secondary.
