Forgotten $62m star takes major step to get back into NFL after alienating Super Bowl team

Brandon Aiyuk could be on the verge of returning to the NFL after a two-year absence. Once one of the most promising young wide receivers in the league, Aiyuk hasn’t played in a game since October 20, 2024. The former first-round draft pick tore the ACL, MCL and meniscus in his right knee on that date. But the real fallout was between Aiyuk and the San Francisco 49ers , who have publicly stated that the 28-year-old receiver will never play for the team again.
